{"id":8479,"date":"2016-09-20T11:00:29","date_gmt":"2016-09-20T15:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mindful.sodexo.com\/dining-hall-hacks"},"modified":"2018-08-30T09:47:09","modified_gmt":"2018-08-30T09:47:09","slug":"dining-hall-hacks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mindful.sodexo.com\/uk\/dining-hall-hacks\/","title":{"rendered":"Dining Hall Hacks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Have fun with potatoes!\u00a0 Grab a baked potato and double-stuff it with plain yogurt or sour cream, beans, onions, spring onions, a pinch of bacon, celery, peppers, top with grated cheese and microwave.\u00a0 Add roasted potatoes to soups for a heartier meal.\u00a0 Top a green salad with a scoop of roasted potatoes and a sprinkle of cheese for a filling and healthy snack.\u00a0 Check out the vegetarian station for bean and lentil stews that taste great in a baked potato.<\/p>\n<p>Sweet potatoes are fun too!\u00a0 Get over to the ice cream toppings for nuts, maple syrup, and other toppings to make a great dessert!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t want to go old school?\u00a0 Experiment with different flavour combinations.\u00a0 Make your own fruit crisps.\u00a0 Cut up a fresh apple, or canned peaches from the salad bar.\u00a0 Top with granola, honey, nuts and a touch of butter.\u00a0 Microwave and enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>Turn a soup into a stew with beans, greens, and grains from the salad bar.
