Hoewel alle vetten meer dan twee keer zo veel kilocalorie\u00ebn bevatten als eiwitten en koolhydraten, hebben sommige soorten vet wel degelijk gezondheidsvoordelen. Een makkelijk te onthouden \u2018regel\u2019 is dat je het beste kunt kiezen voor vetten die op kamertemperatuur vloeibaar blijven (zoals olijfolie en koolzaadolie), omdat deze enkelvoudige en meervoudig onverzadigde vetzuren bevatten. Vetten die op kamertemperatuur of in de koelkast hard worden (zoals boter), bevatten veel verzadigde vetten en deze kunnen je LDL-cholesterolgehalte verhogen, wat het risico van hart- en vaatziekten vergroot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minder vet, zo doe je dat!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Grill, rooster, bak of wok met \u2018goede\u2019 vetten als koolzaadolie, maar gebruik zo weinig mogelijk.
