Tabata is a form of HIIT-training (High Intensity Interval Training), in which you perform interval exercises in a short timeframe.
Tabata consists of 8 rounds in which you work out as hard as you can for 20 seconds and rest for 10. Tabata only takes 4 minutes of your time with maximum results!
Because you demand an enormous effort from your body, your heart rate will be increased rapidly and your metabolism will be accelerated. Therefore, Tabata is very effective when you want to lose weight, but it improves your stamina as well.
